Talented BI Student Assistant – Paychex Europe

 As our new BI Student Assistant, you will join a young team of three experienced BI Specialists and our external consultants, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in data-driven storytelling and interactive user interfaces. Our team is dynamic and passionate about increasing data-driven decision-making and as a BI Student Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with the visualization, preparation, and documentation of data that supports the Paychex Europe vision across the company. 

 

Your responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of data visualizations and transformation tasks using tools like Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel
• Prepare data for analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency using Microsoft Fabric
• Maintain and update existing BI solutions, contributing to their continuous improvement
• Provide user support within our data hub, helping colleagues make the most of our data resources

Our humble expectations

• Given the responsibilities mentioned above, we expect people with the following traits, skills and experience to be successful in this role: 
• Some knowledge of programming (e.g. SQL, Excel formulas, Python or similar).
• Passion for working with data and creating new insights.
• Used to working in teams
• Proficient in Danish and English
• Independent, structured, methodical, and detail-oriented approach to tasks
• Currently pursuing an HA.it or similar IT-related degree, with at least one year of studies completed
